This is one of the location, like the Rasik Chowk where the community level activity takes place. The temple is taken care of by the Mahant of the Temple. One of the most interesting thing about this location is that it shares its wall with Rani Sipri Masjid, one of the most renowned islamic structures. This again highlights the communal harmony in the heart of the people of the old city. The Rani Sipri Mosque is beautiful example Indo-Islamic architecture with beautiful stone jail work. It was commissioned by Queen Sipri of Sultan Mahmud Begada in 1514. It is so beautiful that it is also called Masjid-e-Nagina. Queen Shipri was a Hindu, Inter-religious marriages were common among Indian royalty. And currently it shares wall with Hindu Balaji Temple.
