Ancestors are saying that there used to be a Vaav (stepwell) near this Bahuchar Mata Mandir. It is said that the temple is situated usually on the other end of the Vaav. The elements like steps, doors with arch and passage(tunnell) strengthens the existence of Vaav earlier. Elements like steps which are still visible and other elements seen by the locals add to the fact of its existence.
