Rani no Haziro is the tomb of the queens of Sultan Ahmed Shah. The complex of tombs is set east of the Badshah no Haziro, the sultan’s mausoleum.
The mausoleum complex was built in 1445 to entomb the queens.
The queen’s tombs have a more delicate and feminine appearance than the mausoleum of the king. The courtyard is set inside a delicately trellised cloister.
This complex is best known for the market with shops and vendors selling clothing, handicrafts and artificial jewellery.
Rani no Haziro is also known as Mughlai Bibi’s Tomb. The courtyard is an open square of 98 feet from inside surrounded by a delicate trellised cloister set on a raised platform of about 10 feet from the street level.
